The question on everyone’s mind: who is Rossco, and why name our distillery bar after him?

Arriving in a new country as an adult can be daunting, but Ross made it feel effortless. His warmth, curiosity, and generosity were an instant welcome. A respected figure in the world of wine, Ross carried an infectious passion for flavour, knowledge, and conviviality. With a familiar twinkle in his eye, he shared stories, expertise, and the occasional exceptionally rare bottle.

A true bon vivant, Ross valued conversation and connection just as much as the finer things in life. He was more than a gentleman, he was a dear friend. We shared countless memorable meals, and I wish there could have been many more. Though he’s no longer with us, his spirit lives on in every glass raised.

Naming the bar in his honour felt not just fitting, but essential. Here’s to Rossco, and to the community he inspired.
